MATHCOUNTS School Handbook
The 2011-2012 MATHCOUNTS School Handbook will be distributed to every middle school in the U.S. this fall. There are over 300 creative problems meeting National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards for grades 6-8. This year, the problems are also mapped to the Common Core State Standards. The Handbook and problems are available for download below.
Schools that have signed up a math club for the MATHCOUNTS Club Program will automatically receive a hard copy of the MATHCOUNTS School Handbook.
Whether you incorporate the materials into your classroom or use them as an extracurricular activity, we hope you find these and other MATHCOUNTS resources helpful.
