As an administrator in an increasingly competitive recruiting environment, the ability to connect with the most talented math minds in the country is of the utmost importance. In order to help you reach these students, MATHCOUNTS is proud to announce the launch of our newest initiative, MATHCOUNTS College Connections.
MATHCOUNTS is the nation’s premier middle school mathematics enrichment, club and competition program, now in its 29th year of working with the most gifted students in the United States.
MATHCOUNTS College Connections will help facilitate interactions between colleges, Mathletes and their parents with a goal of encouraging the most gifted students in the country to pursue collegiate fields of study in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
MATHCOUNTS College Connections will provide you with the ability to interact with and influence these students at a critical time when they are making important decisions about their academic pursuits.
- 85% of Mathletes who compete at the state level go on to pursue a STEM field of study in college
- 76% of Mathletes who compete at the state level score a 1400 or higher on the Math and Verbal sections of their SATs.
- The top five majors for Mathletes who compete at the state level are in this order: mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, biology and chemical engineering.

Levels of Support:
Associate - $2500 annually
- Listing in the College Connections section of www.mathcounts.org with collegiate logo and web link.

- Brief description or mission statement with hyperlinked listing.
|
- Listing in an issue of the MATHCOUNTS newsletter (distribution of 110,000).
|
Affiliate - $5000 annually
- All benefits entitled to Associates.
|
- Listing in the MATHCOUNTS School Handbook, distributed to every middle school in the country free of charge (total production 62,000).
|
- Opportunity to provide brochures and cover letters to be distributed at MATHCOUNTS State Competitions (average of 6,000 state competitors per year).
|
Partner - $7500 annually
- All benefits entitled to Affiliates.
|
- E-blast during the school year to all MATHCOUNTS constituents (students, coaches and coordinators) announcing your institution’s participation as a Partner.
|
- Booth/exhibit space at the MATHCOUNTS National Competition allowing for interaction with MATHCOUNTS national competitors and their parents.
